You guys, I made an appearance at a party last night!. Yes, the party took place downstairs in my house, and yes the pain medicine was strong, but hey, it’s better than nothing, right?
Prior to this my longest stretch in recent memory of hanging out with people outside of my immediate family took place in a medical office.
So for me it’s a milestone, and one I will own.
Yes, I am exhausted and it will probably take me a few days to recover (update, Thursday–I’m still in bed, have been all week), but I’ll take the positive moments, whenever they appear, no matter how brief.
